(I just wouldn’t trust this on a car…. or extended exposure to weather) I ordered 2, and 1 only works at about 50% capacity… so all in all… it holds true to the “made in china” stigma. Value: considering these come with batteries for $3, ($1.50 each) its a great deal. considering shipping ($4.50) it rapidly dwindles in the minds eye… Usability: very useable on the whole(regarding people with nonstandard valve stems, they dont fit.) easy to understand where the batteries go and whatnot…. lol OVERALL: P.S. If anyone would like to see a video of what they actually look like on a bike tire. Let me know. cause there are none online that I could find. I felt that the light was too intermittent to give the effect shown in the photo – It is more of a streak-darkness-streak-darkness effect. This improves the fast you go, but I would need to go pretty fast to make it work like shown in the photo. Riding under bright streetlights sometimes would turn them off, sometimes not. Although they function, I’m not overly impressed and wish I had gotten more of the rainbow colored ones (2x the price but nicer). I’m not going to return them because of the shipping cost, but if I got these locally I would take them back. I’m going to need to supplement with additional lighting. They come in an easy to open, cheap package with poorly translated English instructions. They are very easy to install. Careful when you open the batteries as they fall out easily it is in the wrong orientation and they are tiny so they might be hard to find if you drop them. |
